The Fiance and I just returned from seeing the new Star Trek, and I for one loved it!

Also, before the film, the had this awesome slashy little . . . thing.  It was just something to entertain the people who were waiting for the movie to start, you know, but it was all about the love between Kirk and Spock, and it had clips from the original series and it was just . . . SO AWESOME!  *G*

Okay, enough of my squee-babble.  I'm off . . . but y'all already knew that. *G*

I am so totally wiped out.  Just . . . ::yawns::  I can't be this tired at 10 at night!!  ::sighs::

I want to write, damn it!  Why won't my brain let me?  Is it mad at me?  ::pouts::  I've got story ideas poking their heads up every few minutes, original and fanfic, and neither of them will cooperate!  And let's not even talk about non-fiction essay type stuff because that's just . . . yeah.  Even editing of previously written stories is, apparently, beyond me.  It's so damned frustrating and really crazy making.

I worry I may never write again.  Which is totally ridiculous, right?  I mean, wouldn't be so worried about it if I didn't *want* to write again, and I because I want to write again, I will.  (Please, watch your step around that logic, it's fragile.  ::snorts::)  ::shakes head at self::

Erm, that is all.

We took Meinu to the vet yesterday.  She was having trouble eating the dry food, and she lost a little weight--which automatically makes the Fiance crazy, after Acacia.  Everybody managed not to lose any limbs (Meinu can be a viscious little darlin', at times).  She tried to bite the vet twice, but vets are good at avoiding those sorts of things.  ::nods::

She got *three shots*.  She was not happy, but she seems to be doing better now.  She isn't torturing the kittens as much, so I figure that's got to be a good sign, right?  Plus?  She's on her third plate of breakfast this morning.  She keeps asking, and she keeps eating it, so . . . 0.0  The vet wants to take out some of her teeth, which seem to be causing the problem, but not until the antibiotics kick in and she's gained a little weight back.

My toe is not broken!  It was bruised for a few days, but didn't hurt nearly as bad after the first day and now it doesn't hurt at all!!  This is fantastic news, obviously, except that my brain still kinda is broken.  ::pouts::  I'd glare at it, but I suspect that that would involve a mirror and lots of dangerous surgery, so . . . yeah.  *G*

I think I broke my little toe.  I stubbed it pretty badly and then it started hurting, and now it's all swollen and it hurts up into my foot.  Is that broken?  Could it just be like . . . sprained?

Sorry it's been a bit since I posted!  I've been slaving over a tutorial for graphicsluts (which is here!), and working on some icons, and pouting over a couple of rejections, and looking for a day job.  The usual, but with less LJ posting.  *G*

I'm working on a plotty Giles/Wesley, too, but it's gotten bendy and I haven't had time to unravel it lately, although the weekend's been quiet so far (my favorite kind!).  I had a good visit with my mom on Friday, and today was menu planning for the week to come and documentary watching with the Fiance.  Oh, blessed peace!  And cuddling.  *G*  Did you know there's a cave in Chiquaqua where there are gypsum crystal formations thirty-six feet long and up to 60 tons?  That's just . . . It's like ten times bigger than any other crystal found on earth!  They're beautiful caves, too, but so hot that humans would die after fifteen minutes of unprotected exposure.  0.0  So, cool!

Tomorrow, the Fiance and I will be heading over to katekat1010's for Super Bowl party-ing, which will doubtlessly be awesome despite the football aspect.  ::laughs::  Food and friends in the same place can't help but rock.  ::nods::
